Within my first few months at Deerfield Public Library, I developed and implemented a full branding identity for the Library’s MakerSpace. Previous attempts by the Communications Department had failed to resonate with staff, leaving the space without a cohesive visual identity. After listening to feedback and learning about the MakerSpace’s offerings, I created a logo and brand system that immediately gained enthusiastic support from the team.
The new branding reflects the MakerSpace’s energy, creativity, and spirit of innovation, while remaining aligned with the Library’s broader visual identity. In addition to the logo, I designed supporting materials including signage, promotional graphics, and a print brochure to be included in the Library's Welcome Packets—ensuring a consistent presence across platforms.
